The suture retains approximately 50% of its original tensile strength at four weeks, gradually losing all strength before complete absorption within 180 to 220 days. The violet coloration enhances visibility during surgical procedures, allowing for precise placement and controlled tissue approximation.

Equipped with a CT-2 Taper Point Needle, this suture is designed for smooth penetration through delicate tissues while minimizing trauma. The 1/2 circle curvature allows for controlled movement in deep or confined surgical fields.
